What is R/TURN

Santanderina presents R/TURN SMART RECYCLED FABRICS, a selection of high ecological fabrics and finishes to drive circular econo my solutions in the textile world. With a vertical production process with controlled traceability, we recycle materials like Tencel® and cotton, turning it into new fabrics based on responsible manufacturing. The result are recycled fabrics meeting all quality standards.

Be the change you want to see in fabrics

ECO-friendly materials

Organic Cotton is grown using responsible methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment.
Crops aren’t treated with pesticides, insecticides or herbicides. These toxins are harmful for farmers and workers, us as consumers, and entire wildlife eco-systems.

· NON-ALLERGENIC
· COMFORTABLE
· 100% PLANT-DERIVED
· CONTROLLED TRACEABILITY

Recycled cotton fabrics reduce our use of virgin cotton and thus the significant water, CO2 and other impacts from cotton farming.

· HIGH-QUALITY RECYCLED FIBRE
· CONTROLLED TRACEABILITY
· REDUCES WASTE
· CONSERVES RESOURCES
· RESPONSIBLE MANUFACTURING
· GREEN PROCESSES

BCI cotton ensures a responsible use of cotton:

· REDUCES THE IMPACT OF WATER AND PESTICIDE USE ON HUMAN AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
· IMPROVES SOIL HEALTH AND BIODIVERSITY
· PROMOTES BETTER WORKING CONDITIONS
· FACILITATES GLOBAL KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE ON MORE SUSTAINABLE COTTON PRODUCTION
· INCREASES THE TRACEABILITY ALONG THE COTTON SUPPLY CHAIN

SEAQUAL is high-quality recycled polyester yarn made from 100% recycled materials including post consumer plastic bottles and plastic captured from the sea, that’s why it contributes to preserving natural resources and reducing the waste in the planet’s water.

Recycled polyester is made from recycled materials (PET and polyester fabrics).

· THE ENERGY NEEDED TO MAKE THE RPET IS LESS THAN WHAT IS NEEDED TO MAKE THE VIRGIN POLYESTER
· RECYCLING PET TO CREATE THE FABRICS PREVENTS IT FROM GOING TO LANDFILL
· USING MORE RECYCLED POLYESTER REDUCES OUR DEPENDENCE ON PETROLEUM AS THE RAW MATERIAL FOR OUR FABRIC NEEDS

ECOVERO is a sustainable viscose based on three pillars: use of certified and controlled sustainable wood sources (FSC® or PEFC® certified); ecological production process (50% lower emissions & water impact than generic viscose); supply chain transparency.

· NATURAL AND RENEWABLE MATERIAL
· ECO-RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION PROCESSES
· CONTROLLED TRACEABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY

VEROTEN is a textile solution that combines Tencel (pure and its blends) with EcoVero, the most sustainable viscose in the market with the lowest environmental impact.

· NATURAL AND RENEWABLE RAW MATERIAL
· USE OF CERTIFIED AND CONTROLLED SUSTAINABLE WOOD SOURCES
· LOWER CO2 EMISSIONS
· LOWER WATER AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION
· 100% SUPPLY CHAIN TRANSPARENCY
